Learning Photoshop CS for the Web

I'm still plowing through the Lynda.com lesson for this week. It's a bit tedious because as I'm learning new tools, I'm also searching for different ways to do the same effects in CS3. Similar yes, but frustrating when you can't follow along exactly. Plus there are other functions that I'm curious about that the videos don't cover. All in good time I suppose. I was worried at first because the initial lessons seemed basic, but then they jumped into areas that I haven't used Photoshop before. I have a feeling even after these lessons, I'll have some great ideas in my head, but it won't be so simple to implement due to my learning curve.
